Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Payments and currency

• Membership is billed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
• Payments are processed by PayHere (payhere.lk). You enter card or wallet details on PayHere's secure page; we never see or store your card number.
• The price and what it includes are shown before you confirm. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency-conversion or transaction fees, which are outside our control.

2. Delivery of the service

Membership is a digital service with nothing physical to ship. Access is activated on your account immediately after a successful payment — normally within a few minutes of PayHere confirming it. A receipt is sent to your registered email or mobile number. If payment succeeds but access does not appear within 24 hours, contact us and we will either activate it or refund you in full.

3. When we refund

We will refund you in full in these cases:

• Service not delivered — you were charged but membership was not activated and we cannot activate it.
• Duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same membership period.
• Incorrect amount — you were charged more than the advertised price.
• Unauthorised payment — a payment was made from your card without your authorisation, once verified with PayHere and your bank.
• Cooling-off — you request a refund within 7 days of your first payment and have not used the paid features (for example, you have not viewed contact details of any profile you could not already see).
• We close your account for a reason that is not your fault — the unused portion of your membership is refunded pro rata.

4. When we do not refund

• Change of mind after the 7-day cooling-off period, or after the paid features have been used.
• The unused part of a membership period you cancel part-way through, other than the pro-rata case above.
• Where your account is suspended or closed because you broke our Terms & Conditions — for example false information, misuse of another member's contact details, or harassment.
• Dissatisfaction with the outcome — we provide access to the platform, not a guarantee of matches, replies or a marriage. Not finding a match is not grounds for a refund.
• Your profile being rejected for breaching our content rules after you were told what to fix and did not fix it. (If we reject your profile for a reason that is our fault, or we cannot approve it at all, we refund in full.)

5. Cancelling a membership

You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by writing to us. Cancellation stops any further billing. Your membership continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your profile stays on the site (free access permitting) unless you also delete your account.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@nallanikah.com with:

• the mobile number registered on your account;
• the payment date, amount and PayHere order or reference number; and
• a short description of the problem.

We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and decide within 7 business days. Approved refunds are returned through PayHere to the original payment method — we cannot refund to a different card or account. Depending on your bank, the money typically appears within 7 to 14 business days of approval. We do not deduct any handling fee from a refund.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — it is almost always faster to resolve directly. We may suspend an account while a chargeback is under investigation.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the service develops; the version that applies to a payment is the one published on the day you paid. The date above shows the current version.
